Salzburg!

Hello, all! I'm in Salzburg, Austria for a scholarship trip to the Salzburg Global Citizenship Seminar. I'm staying next door to the Schloss Leopoldskron, the location for the film "The Sound of Music." The Meiherhoff (also owned by Max Reihnhardt), is next door to the Lepoldskron. That is where I'm staying, and although also being an old building, is quite nice. The three meals a day served at the Schloss to seminar students is second to none, and I've been treated like nothing less than royalty by the staff here. No complaints.

Welkommen zu das Schloss Leopoldskron!

This is outside the back door of the Schloss.

The lectures have been tough due to jet-lag, but it's been interesting to say the least. The issues of global concern are interesting to investigate, and determining the best ways to develop solutions of international concern with respect to other cultures is not as straightforward as it may sometimes seem. But, I'm sure I'll have plenty of that for the rest of the week. For now, good night (although is't only 5:55 p.m. at home, it's midnight here...ugh). I'll post some more pics later this week.

Till next time,
Clay

Lt. Col. Allen West Under Fire

A good man responds well under fire. As John Adams would say, "Facts are stubborn things."
